Fax Server Pro

In a large organization or company, it's important to have a running and well configured fax server, so that any employee can send or receive faxes, no matter where he is located inside the building. Besides having an optimized computer network, you will also need to configure a Fax application. In this situation, you could install and use Fax Server Pro.

This Windows application consists of two modules, a Fax server and a Fax client. The server should be installed on a single computer, while each employee should have the Fax client application installed. When configuring the Fax server for the first time, you will need to select a modem or Fax device and then enter some information about your company, like the country or region, dialing rules, company name and so on. The program is able to automatically detect any modem or Fax device. Optionally, you can select a printer to be used when receiving faxes, so that the program can automatically print the received fax.

Having all these parameters configured, the last step is to define the user accounts which will be used to connect to the FAX server. At this point, each employee of your company should launch the FAX client module and enter the username and password, in order to be able to send and receive faxes. What's more, users can receive faxes in their email address, but this feature should be configured on the FAX server side.
